SWIMMING POOLS
Maintaining pool and spa chemistry is essential for a healthy swimming environment. Follow this general guide to achieve and maintain the proper water chemistry in your pool or spa. The water chemistry should be tested and adjusted regularly to maintain safe levels. Use one gallon of AquaHyON per 10,000 gallons of pool water. FOLLOW UP WEEKLY with 40 ounces of AquaHyON for every 10,000 gallons of pool water. Maintain pH at 7.4 to 7.6 and alkalinity at 80 to 120.
- pH is the single most important factor in swimming pool water. pH indicates the relative acidity or alkalinity of water. pH is measured on a scale of 0 (acidic) to 14 (high alkalinity)
- The optimal pH range is a slightly alkaline pH of 7.4 to 7.6
